PASSIVE ANTENNA
Passive antennas are also called extension antennas which can be used with any MONO system from the AMERSEC range. Each system can power up to two passive antennas allowing you to install at wide distances for very favourable prices.
Each passive antenna extends the detection field of a regular MONO system without forming a detection field on the outer side. This DUAL-looking configuration can then avoid sometimes unwanted detection at the showcase area by not picking up tags or labels of displayed items.
MONO
A standard MONO system configuration uses detection parameters on both sides of the so called active antenna. Usually such configuration is used for boutiques where the MONO antenna can be installed in the middle or at the side of a shop entrance. Or alternatively the same configuration is used for protection at the checkouts in hypermarkets or supermarkets.
MONO + 1 PASSIVE ANTENNA
AMERSEC offers a very unique feature which can be used with any of our MONO systems. You can connect an additional so called PASSIVE antenna to the regular MONO system and achieve additonal 30 - 40% wider detection field between the antennas!
MONO + 2 PASSIVE ANTENNAS
To protect an extra wide aisle for very favourible prices you can add up to two PASSIVE antennas to only one AMERSEC MONO system. As you can see on the picture you will achieve a three antenna configuration with the same detection parameters as any regular DUAL system on the market!
